About Costa del Sol

"Maybe" Europe’s best pearl of beaches, golf courts, restaurants, entertainments and truth relaxation. Costa del Sol provides you with a wide range of experiments, most people relate Costa del Sol to the beach and warm climate, which is no doubt what still attracts most of the Europeans.

But the many golf courts are also attracting a lot of people. Her you have lost of challenge from golf courts in the hills that are breathtaking for even the most experienced player to the more even courts that has beautiful sea and mountain views. There is even a court with light on in the evening so that the night owls and hard working people can play after sunset. Lots of new courts are being built and the selection is wider and wider and therefore also more economic.
Only a few miles inland bring us to some of the original unspoiled villages that offer you architectonic, cultural and culinary experiences. There are simply so many places to go to that fills you with funny, exiting, interesting and beautiful experiences, you can spend days travelling throughout Andalusia.

Malaga - the capital of Costa del Sol - a city in fast development and constant change, but still offers small cosy streets in the centre of town, filled with shops, cafes and tapas bars. But Malaga also offers you cultural experiences such as the Cathedral, the Alcazaba castle and the Gibralfaro fort. And it is the birth city of the famous painter Pablo Picasso; his museum is worth a visit.

Torremolinos - the biggest and best-known tourist city- on the Costa del Sol, the town that moves almost 24 hours a day. Lots of beach restaurants offering a good selection of fresh seafood, lost of night clubs where you can dance until the early hours in the morning, Torremolinos simply the city where to party.

Fuengirola - a tourist friendly city - with a wide selection of good restaurants, invites you to stroll along one of the longest paseos it’s whole 8 km. long from Carvajal in the east to the castle in the west, which is also the landmark of the city. The beautiful castle has been refurbished several times and today it is used for concerts in the summer, where music concerts of popular, flamenco and orchestras play for full house. You can also visit the museum that tells you the story of the castle.

Mijas - the white town - today a town with a big tourist attraction, but has still preserved its original charm, lays as a white spot on the big mountain and offers spectacular views of the coast from Benalmadena to La Cala. Definitely a place to visit if you have not yet been there and still if you have you would return.

Marbella - some call it Spain’s St. Tropez - the place where the rich and famous gather but also the place where the average man will pay just a little bit more, in order to experience Marbella. In the old part of the town of Marbella you will find shopping streets with a good atmosphere, with posh fashion shops, something for every taste. A few miles outside of the town you will find the well-known Puerto Banus, here you can see yachts that are so big that one wonders whom live behind their facade. Here you can experience the jet-set life and be lucky to meet a famous person, or just admire all the big cars that promenade along the dock.

Ronda - lies majestic - surrounded by the Sierra de las Nieves (snow mountains) that on a cold winter will be whitened with snow. Ronda is known for its beautiful bullring, the oldest and biggest in Spain. When there is not held a fight, it is open to the public and you can also visit the museum that tells you all about the bull fight history.



This just to mention a few of the many towns, which lie closely to each other along Costa del Sol. Of entertainment we will mention amongst others:

Selwo at Estepona:
Stunning wild Animal Park. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes; it is easily a full day trip.

Water Park:
There are several along the coast, ask your local tourist information of the nearest one to you.
